It is NEVER TOO LATE to improve your flexibility and balance.
In this class you will learn to listen to your body and work at your own pace always remembering that Yoga is not a competition.
You may need to modify some poses to suit yourself, or you can ask me about any changes you may need to make. You can use a mat on the floor or you can use a chair.
As we work through the basic poses known as "asanas", we will use techniques in breathing, stretching, strengthening, and overall relaxation.
By practicing yoga you may improve flexibility, strength, balance, joint mobility, blood circulation and immune functions. In addition, yoga helps to improve posture, bone mass, increase energy levels, and release tension. SO WHY WOULDN'T YOU WANT TO TRY IT!
The benefits or yoga are cumulative: the more you practice, the greater the results.
